She works with glass and semi-precious gemstone beads, incorporating natural materials such as seed pods and wood into her designs. She also uses wire-wrapping to design rings and bracelets. Her trinkets include earrings, key chains, bookmarks, badge and eyeglass holders, hair sticks, and magnetic hematite jewelry. All of her work is one of a kind or limited edition. All jewelry has sterling findings and is strung on high quality Beadalon™ 49 strand nylon coated steel. A discount is applied when a matching set of necklaces and earrings is purchased.
Kate teaches at beading parties in Matthews, Charlotte, and surrounding locations.
